Thanks for checking out the youth page. My name is Joseph Cisneroz, or Joe, The JOE show, jojo, joey bear. I am the Youth Director of this fine establishment. God has some amazing things going on right now and I would love it if you have and experienced HIM with us!
So what/who is Crew 32?
“Crew”- A group of people who work closely together.
What about the 32?
1 John 3:2
“2 Dear friends, now we are God’s children, and it hasn’t yet appeared what we will be. We know that when he appears we will be like him because we’ll see him as he is.”
Thus creating “Crew 32” - A group of people that work closely together to love all of God’s children, and to know we are loved as well. Even though the future is sometimes unclear, we strive to seek God in everything we do and everything we say.
SO WHO CAN COME?
Crew 32 Youth Group is open to all youth 7th grade-12th grade. This is not some exclusive club, but actually quite the opposite. This is a place for youth to come that want to be accepted for who they are, and where they are in life.
Our focus is to LOVE, as Christ has LOVED us.
We have weekly activities, monthly events and missions, day trips, yearly trips, retreats, community events, and many other awesome activities and events to help students grow in their faith and have fun!
The Bridge Contemporary Service
9:45 – 10:45 am
Youth Sunday School takes place from 9:45-10:45 a.m. in the Youth Room (Upper Level).
Sunday Night Youth
7th - 12th grade
5:30 - 7:30 PM
Come hang with other Youth and be ready for a night of Worship, food, and fellowship. We kick off the night meeting in the “HUB” with a snack supper. We then move to activities that range from Elevated 9 Square, GaGa Ball, Dodge Ball, Movie Nights, and so much more. Then ending the night with worship and devotional to prepare us to live like Christ.
Wednesday Night Youth
7th - 12th grade
6:00 - 8:00 pm
There is an all church dinner starting at 5:30 pm in the HUB, then the youth move to the upstairs youth room.
Join us for fellowship and a more discussion type message. We focus on things that are relevant to our youth and allow time for students to discuss the topic of the night. This is a time for deeper growth in our faith and interacting with others and how they see things.
Confirmation is a time for 6th graders to have an in-depth exploration of their faith. The class is led by the Senior Pastor, Children’s Director, and Youth Director, and generally meets starting in January of each year. Students will explore the core beliefs of the Christian faith, ask and answer questions of God, learn more about following Jesus, and understand how God’s grace is revealed in our lives each day. Please visit with the Senior Pastor to learn more about confirmation.
Sundays at 4:30 - 5:30 pm
Youth Choir meets in the Music Room on the second floor of our church sanctuary building. All youth grades 7-12 are welcome to come. No experience is necessary. The choir attends music festivals, sings for community groups, frequently leads in worship, and often combines with the chancel choir for special music events.
Each year, our Youth Choir learns music to sing during the Baylor YouthCue Festival held at Baylor University in Waco. They spend a wonderful weekend of activities and rehearsals together with 300 other youth from throughout Texas and surrounding states to prepare the music to sing together for worship on Sunday morning and for a Grand Concert on Sunday afternoon accompanied by the Baylor University Symphony Orchestra. It is an unforgettable experience!
Contemporary Youth Worship
We have youth worship every Sunday evening at the end of our youth time together 6:00 - 8:00 pm (see Sunday night youth.) We play a lot of the more modern worship songs at this time. If you play an instrument (guitar, bass, piano, drums, or want to sing) please contact Joseph Cisneroz, Youth Director.
Youth are also invited to participate in Upper Room Ringers, Chancel Choir, or Early Worship Team rehearsals that occur beyond the times for regularly scheduled Youth Activities.
Throughout the Year
Youth musicians are invited to sing or play music as soloists or in ensembles in worship and for special events.
Our mission is to help grow students in their faith by developing their spiritual life with Christ, while keep their faith relevant to their situations.
- Spiritual growth
- Missions and Outreach
- Leadership Development
While we grow in our faith and life, we make sure to always make time to have fun and become closer to each other.
